Down Rathdowne

Ciao everyone! I cannot wait to show you what's in store over the next couple of months! All I will say is...keep your eyes and ears open.

But for now, we talk panino!

So where have I been lately? Down Rathdowne Street, besides the quaint little bars and restaurants, I managed to find myself a boujee Panino deli with flowers on arrival.

Florian Eatery was once the Rathdowne Street Foodstore, they wanted to keep the traditional vibe and you can feel it as you walk in, such a community atmosphere! It is no wonder there is always a line out the door every weekend.

With their perfectly crusted baguette bread, I just had to get my hands on one of their freshly made sandwiches.

Panino of the day:

- Baguette Bread

- Smoked Ham

- Emmental

- Butter

- Lettuce

Let's start with the bread Ragazzi, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside and cut to an artist's perfection! The perfectly sliced smoked ham with Emmental cheese (Swiss cheese) and buttery lettuce is a panino you could bring to a picnic and have your amici's tongues wagging!

Their signature bread is a wog's super dream being baked by the famous Gattermayr’s family bakery. Their relaxed atmosphere makes you feel like you're not even in Melbourne anymore..."Florence anyone"?

This place is such a vibe you have to bring all the famiglia for a tasty brunch!
